During the preparation of any competitive examination, books play a key role in the success or the intensity of success in that particular exam.

In JEE Mains and Advance also books play a major role in it. If we choose the right book at the right time because reading books never have the harmful effect but exams like JEE Mains and Advance where we have time constraints. We have to choose books very wisely for each and every topic.

b)Inorganic Chemistry-In inorganic chemistry major portion consists of the facts and trends. For facts, NCERT is the best. So, for Inorganic chemistry, NCERT is the best for JEE Mains and Advance. But you want to prepare to answer any question in JEE then J D LEE has no competition till now. It has a very good theory and has facts and figures relative to international standards. It is very strongly suggested to read every day half an hour inorganic chemistry in the morning to brush up the subject.

c)Physical Chemistry-Physical Chemistry is like mathematics. You have to practice a lot of questions for a better understanding of the subject. And O P Tondon has the largest collection of numerical problems of any chapter of physical chemistry related to JEE Mains and Advance. You can also prepare for olympiads after solving the advanced level problem from the O P Tondon. Another book is P Bahadur, It has also a large number of numerical problems which will boast your jee preparation. I don't think other than these two books any other book can stand.

2. Physics- In Physics students need deep conceptual knowledge to solve questions of JEE Mains and Advance. So for JEE Mains and Advance, you have to read the books which have a very good conceptual description and examples. And I think H C Verma is one of the best books for JEE Mains and Advance. HC Verma is the most accurate and comprehensive textbook for your preparation of Physics Board exams as well as engineering entrance exam. The main reason why this book is considered as the Holy Grail for physics preparation is the remarkable way the concepts have been explained. The language used in explaining the concepts is very easy to understand and grasp. The explanation is provided in such a way that even a below-average student can understand the concepts and can easily solve the diverse questions with ease. All the problems asked are of varying difficulty level but surely are interrelated. Concepts learned from the previous unit or topics can easily be applied in the current topic.

Although you don't have to follow the whole series it is preferred to start preparing physics from H C Verma but after the mechanics, you may need different books for sections like then you can prefer DC Pandey series of physics. If You want to practice more problems and get a complete grasp over the subject then you must solve Cengage series of physics . It contains questions of varying difficulty and it has a separate section for the JEE Mains and a separate section for JEE Advance. 3)Mathematics-For mathematics Cengage series is the best series for JEE Mains and Advance in mathematics you need to solve large number and different types of questions for complete understanding. Cengage series is providing different portions in completely different or we can say the style which is needed. It has different books like Trigonometry, Algebra, coordinate etc.

You can also solve Text Book of KC Sinha for the basics but this will not helpful for JEE Advance or for the Olympiads level. You can solve first KC Sinha and then move to the Cengage bok.

Many Students tell that M L Kanna is also very helpful for the preparation but this book is not so much updated to the latest JEE Pattern, but if you want to solve the problems you can solve it from here also.
